People make each other. Before that, or in-between, we are not people. We are something else. Being a person is a game; which is not to say it is without consequences.

Through painting, drawing, performance, video, and sculpture I fabricate scenarios that invite tension between the body and the fiction of the self. While I often use my own body as a vehicle, these are not gestures of self expression; instead they demonstrate expression's contrivance.
